To create this cool girl hair, you’ll need:

- A heat protectant hairspray
- A medium barreled curling iron
- A fine hold hairspray
Get the Look
Step One
Work in a tiny amount of volume inject hair mousse or hairspray through your damp tresses and roughly blowdry them to lend texture to your strands.
Step Two
Using the tail of your comb, create an off-center hair part. You can also trace out a soft part with your fingers for a more natural look.
Step Three
Pin up the top half section of your hair on both sides of the part using duck bill clips or bobby pins. Leave the bottom half of your hair loose.
Step Four
Divide your loose hair into 6-8 vertical sections. Spritz them generously with some heat protectant hairspray.
Step Five
Wrap the hair sections on a medium-barreled curling iron and make loose curls. For the most natural effect, alternate the curls towards and away from your face by wrapping them in opposite directions on the curling iron.
Step Six
Untie the pinned up top hair sections and curl them under on the iron.
Step Seven
Use your fingers to gently lift the roots of your hair and rake through the lengths of your tresses as you go to loosen up the curls and create gorgeous bohemian waves.
Step Eight
Spritz your tresses with some hairspray to set it for longer wear and you’re good to go!
Hope you enjoyed this bohemian waves hair tutorial and would try the gorgeous ’70s inspired cool girl look. Until next time, happy styling!
